Kicken back Saturday!

Today we went into the pool at the 11:00 adult swim time. It turned out to be a good thing which I will explain later.

We have been kicking back today. We have a long drive on Monday to Bend, Oregon which is almost 400 miles, so we want to take it easy for the next few days.

At 3:00 there was an ice cream social. For $1.50 you get a LARGE scoop of ice cream and then you put on all the fixens you want. There was chocolate sauce, butterscotch sauce, pineapples, strawberries, blackberries, whipped cream, cherries, and chopped nuts.

After eating the sundaes we were going to go into the pool. It was closed for 24 hours. It seems that someones little brat had left a gift floating in the pool so they had to clean it, sanitize it and wait 24 hours. SERIOUSLY? If you kid is not potty trained keep him out of the pool! Now all of us are denied because your kid had to do is business in the pool. 100 degrees and no pool!

Well at least we got to use it this morning.

At Bend they have two pools, one for kids, so they can do their business, and one for adults only all the time.

Tomorrow is Sunday and we are going to church at Calvary Chapel of the Foothills which is about 8 miles from here. We are going to try and leave by 7:00am on Monday heading to Bend.

We have some high clouds that have come in and made a beautiful sunset. Patty went out and took some pictures. This is what we see out our window. You can see the reflection of the sky's color off the lake.

In the first picture the sky had a purple tint to it.

Purple sky's
In the bottom picture the sky turned more of an orange color. This was maybe 5 minutes later.

That's it for now.....

God Bless everyone,
Brian and Patty

Seriously, pool floaters happen in my complex all the time. Sometimes its not the little brats but the obnoxious teenagers who throw dog poop in the pools. Great pix's of sunset Patty. Enjoy your day, even though you can't get in the pool, how about the lake?
