June 5th - The baby is a .........

June 5th

The WiFi service has been down here at Yosemite Lakes for a day and a half so we have not been able to update the blog. We have been very busy. 

We went down to Yosemite Valley as I said and had a great time.

We walked all over Yosemite Valley. Must have walked 5 miles total. Man o man are we tired! 

We first walked to Bridalveil Falls. 

We're almost there!

There must have been a large snow pack this year because there is a lot of water and with it a lot of mist from the falls. We had to keep wiping off the camera lens to keep it dry.

After Bridalveil we decided to walk through Cooke meadow and walk to Yosemite falls.

Yosemite Falls from across the meadow. Yep we walked all the way! No wonder we are losing so muchn weight!

Here we walked to the base of lower Yosemite Falls. We took a different trail back. Our truck was parked on the other side of the meadow so we had to walk all the way back again!

Ahh, back home again... This is our site at Yosemite Lakes. It is an end site so we have no neighbors out our door. 

In the last blog I told you that I would reveal whether Crystal and James were going to have a girl or boy. They were were waiting to tell us so they could video chat with us. Crystal had wrapped two presents one labeled A and one labeled 1. She would tell us which one after she found out. The gift would reveal the which it was. The WiFi was so terrible in the park here it would not work so we had to find better internet. 

Tuesday we found poor but better internet at Yosemite Lodge in Yosemite. We had to walk around with my  phone until we could hook up with Google Video. 

Well all that was worth it! We finally were able to video conference with Crystal and James. Our new grandbaby is going to be.....
