Visitors on Saturday

Friday July 6th

Didn't do much today so we didn't know if we should even write today. We decided to because of a couple neat things happening.

First thing is we have decided to stay another week. It is done, we have used one of our weeks for $29.00 and will be staying here in Seaside until July 16th. We will shorten our stay at Pacific City to just one week to  get us back on schedule for Stevie's wedding in August.

Second is that a friend of Patty's from 30 years ago by the name of Susan Haley saw on Facebook that we are here in Seaside. She now lives in Portland which is about 70 miles away. Patty used to work with her at United Blood Services in Ventura. Anyway Susan is coming to visit with us on Saturday. I will have one of my famous BBQ's for her and Patty will have a female to go shopping with. We all win!!!

Third is we met a couple from SoCal in the Jacuzzi a couple nights ago. They are both college professors, she (Lari) at Biola and he (Doug) at  California Baptist University. We talked with them again tonight and found out they are going to our new church North Coast Family Fellowship this Sunday. After church we are going to lunch with them at the "Dive" The Relief Pitcher we had the burger and tuna steak sandwich on our first day here.

No pictures today because all we did was go to Fred Meyers and get some DEET for mosquitoes. We got bit at fireworks on the 4th. A new friend we met there let us use some 8% and it didn't help much so we just bought some 99.97%! We also went to Costco and got a new scrubber brush to wash the RV. It sure is nice not to have to pay sales tax here!

And of course pool and Jacuzzi tonight. The pool keeps getting warmer every night since we have been here! It was at least 85 degrees tonight. We stayed in it for at about 45 minutes before we hit the Jacuzzi.
