Saturday and Sunday

July 7

Brian and I spent the day today with my friend Susan Haley and her exchange students from Japan...and her cute little doggies! Brian bbq'd burgers and then it was on to the beach in Seaside. It was a great day! Thanks for driving out to see us Susan!

Today we went back to our Seaside church North Coast Family Fellowship. Our new friends Lari and Doug also attended. They also thought it was a great church.

Seaside Church
After church we went back to the Relief Pitcher Bar and Grill for lunch. We got there a few minutes before they opened at 11:00 but they let us in and seated us anyway.

Lari had the tuna steak rueben sandwich and Patty had the cod fish sandwich. Doug and I both had hot pastrami on rye with their homemade dijon mustard.

We chatted until about 2:00! What a great Christian couple they are! We will keep in touch with Lari and Doug. The poor waitress ended up bringing us 3 or 4 pitchers of ice tea!

After lunch we kicked back at our home. Our next door neighbors left this morning and they left us a sewer hose 'lift'. In Oregon the 3" sewer hose can not be on the ground. People buy hose "slinkys" to raise then up but they are 30-40 bucks.

We had been laying the hose on top of our yellow leveling blocks which we were told was legal. Our neighbor had an old metal rod based lift, but hey it's free!

Tonight we went back to the pool.

And met our friends again in the jacuzzi.

Stayed until about 10:15 and called it a night!

Thanks for reading and love you all!
